The Impact of our Bhutanese Family in Ohio's 3rd Congressional District confirms that the growing new American population contribute to the cultural richness and enhance the economic growth and development of Ohio's 3rd Congressional District. The growth rate of the immigrant/refugee population in Columbus has also posed certain challenges for the city infrastructure in meeting the basic living necessities in a culturally sensitive manner. Some of these challenges include language barriers and education, fair and affordable housing, healthcare and employment. Ohios 3rd Congressional District has always been an inclusive city. Under NEW leadership of Richardson For Congress , Richardson will continue to enhance Ohio's 3rd Congressional District will accept and appreciate those from ALL cultures and backgrounds. It’s what makes Ohios 3rd Congressional District an amazing place to live, work and raise a family.
Guided by humanitarian and human rights values, Together with Richardson in Congress I will continue and enhance to assist refugees and immigrants escaping wars, violence, tyranny, and extreme poverty to find a safe haven in Ohio's 3rd Congressional District; facilitate their resettlement and social, civic, and economic integration through client-centered and culturally appropriate services; advocate on their behalf; and help them build vibrant communities.
